R&D Funding With Ukrainian Partners
Since June 2022, Ukraine participates in Horizon Europe as an associated country. Ukrainian partners join consortia on equal terms, are fully funded by the programme, and bring combat-tested innovation to EU R&D projects.
How Ukraine Participates
Ukraine's association to Horizon Europe since June 2022 means Ukrainian entities participate on equal terms — they are fully funded and don't need to contribute financially. This makes Ukraine an attractive consortium partner, especially for projects in energy, digital, health, and materials where Ukrainian researchers bring unique real-world experience.
